POLICE are investigating an incident after two rival bikie gangs brawled outside of a Tweed Heads rugby league club overnight.

The incident involving Bandido bikies and Lone Wolf members happened around 8.20pm outside of the Seagulls Club on Gollan Dr.

By the time police arrived the patched members had fled the scene but a number of the men were found in a nearby carpark.

Police cuffed the men but were forced to release them pending further inquiries.

CCTV from the precinct is being gathered and the matter is still under investigation.
