1984 FXRS about 20 yrs ago, kept it like this till I joined the club again, then was inspired to make a few changes,see front page shot.... would still have this bike if I hadnt got broke and needed to pay some bills, aah 6 weeks no bike, then financed a new 1994 FXDL...

   
which ya could sort of see here if it wasnt for some ugly mother in the way...

Did the usual go-quicker bits, pipes, carb kit , screaming eagle ignition,

which was fine until a bloke from the Gold Coast let it be known he had 2 too many 103"

S&S's in his shop that we could have for a pretty reasonable price....,

Had another rebuild since this shot 8 years ago ,

Lousy shot of it on the Dyno at the Bankstown show, however pulled 119.6hp at 6000 rpm, so I was pretty happy, shit those motors are good...

anyway, rode it quite happily for 5 yrs or so until one night when this dickhead tried to beat the lights across 3 lanes of traffic and took me out..I flew through the air particularly gracefully and landed on the other side of the intersection on my back...broken pelvis, crushed vertebrae, stuffed knee...The bike wasnt too flash either, front end ripped right off and lying 10metres up the road .Hence the new front end and still slightly bent frame, 10 grand to get it back on the road..

Put some decent shocks on it since this photo and its finally handling reasonably again...Recently racing on some Queensland back roads up over the 200kph mark...

Its had a major rebirthing since this shot about 7 years ago...
